Tea Time @ Pick N' Brew

After the Urban Hulk event, I went to Pick N' Brew to have their lovely coffee to make me stay fresh because I just slept for 4 hours after my night shift. So continuing from my teaser, here's the review.

Cosy environment, just the way I like it.

Since it's about 5 p.m. when I came here, so the promotion that is on will be the RM 10 ++ tea time promotion. For only RM 11.50 including tax, you'll get a pot of coffee of your choice (a pot can filled up to two cups) and a slice of cake of your choice.

I think the available choice of cakes are blueberry cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake and mocha cheesecake. I'm not sure whether they are still serving apple crumble cheesecake because that day I ordered but was told there's no apple crumble cheesecake. So I ordered Strawberry Cheesecake and a pot of coffee brewed using Brazilian coffee bean and Kenya coffee bean. Yes, you can mix and match your coffee bean here, hence the name Pick N' Brew.

Only when I was taking picture that I noticed the buttons to call for service. They're quite well hidden. Since Jackson was busy interviewing some applicants, so I didn't disturb him.

My coffee and strawberry cheesecake.

The coffee here is really something, I've said it before and I'll say it again. The coffee here is the only coffee that I can drink it black. If I tried that with Starbucks' coffee, I'll get nauseated. But the coffee here, you'll spoil the taste if you add in sugar and milk.

The strawberry cheesecake is not bad and goes well with the coffee. The cheese is enough in the cake, unlike some cheesecake where you can't taste the cheese at all. For RM 10 ++, I think this set is value for money. A combination like this in Starbucks will take you back for at least RM 18 ++.

Rating: 4/5

Other than Tea Time set RM 10++ 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Pick N' Brew also have Executive Lunch Set RM 28 ++ from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Dinner Set RM 32 ++ from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Boolicious tried the Executive Lunch Set and I think she like it.

Oh by the way, this set is available daily, yes that's mean weekend too. So, if you're happen to be shopping in 1 Utama and want to go for coffee, why not try this. I can tell you it's value for money.

Yeah, the coffee certainly impresses. But I dont drink black coffee, so I poured the whole 2 packets of sugar and lots of milk into mine. =P

OK, probably spoiled the rich coffee taste, I know.

havnt tried the cakes yet.
