Many of us know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Just think that after sleeping for 7-8 hours or even 10-12 hours for some lucky people, we are not eating anything and our body is burning on our storage which is “stored fat”, unless you ate a very heavy meal before you go to bed. Waking up with an empty stomach with nothing to burn, our body will need something to boost our energy level in the morning.
Also, skipping on breakfast is not good for people that wants to slim down because our body will slow down our metabolism and burn less calories. At lunch time you'll be eating more than usual but you will be burning less calories and worse if your body starts to stored the food as fat.
Of course, some people will say that they are busy in the morning hence skipping on breakfast. Well, why not make yourself a mug of Milo that is a well balanced and nutritious breakfast filled with Positive Energy. Positive Energy is derived from the perfect ratio of nutrients consisting of protein, carbohydrates and fats to provide our body with the much needed fuel to take on both physical and mental challenges each day.
In line with MILO®’s aim in ensuring our children develop good healthy habits for both nutrition and physical involvement, Malaysia Breakfast Day was introduced to further amplify the brand’s involvement in our children’s wholesome well-being.
