Bavarian Bierhaus, UOA Center

Warning: Tidak Ditanggung Halal

Last Thursday I went down town to Wisma UOA Center to meet up with Thomas to collect my free movie pass for The Elephant and the Sea. You can read his review of the movie here. I parked in Wisma Antarabangsa and walk over to Wisma UOA Center because the parking outside in UOA Center is full.

I called Thomas and he still got some work to do so he asked me to find a place to chill first. So when I reached the ground floor I saw this sign:

Since I haven't have lunch yet and it's about 4.30 p.m. a pint of German beer and some pork will do me justice. So, I chose to wait for him here at the Bavarian Bierhaus. I didn't know that they have an outlet here in UOA Center. I usually go to the one in the Curve.

I found that the outlet here is much more spacious as compared to the one in the Curve.

The German beer that Bavarian Bierhaus boast to have the most draft choices.

I only saw snacks menu after I ordered from the main menu, which is much more expensive than the snacks T_T

My booze.

Seafood tomato soup. Tasted rich with tomato puree but not too sour. Fresh mussels and some prawns. An appetizing starter.

Rating: 3.5/5

Berlin Steak which is a pork chop with mushroom sauce that comes with bacon rolled around apparagus. A very porky meal indeed. The bacon is delicious on it's own and give you a different pleasure if eaten with the asparagus. The downside is that the asparagus is a bit old which lack of the sweetness and juice of a fresh young asparagus. The pork chop is meaty but a bit dry to eat on it's own. Covered it with the mushroom sauce and voila, a good combination.

Rating: 3/5

Thomas' half drank Strawberry Smoothies.
