Herbal Mutton Soup and Parma Ham Pizza, Hola Cafeteria, Simei, Singapore

On the next day. I went to Hola Cafeteria that is near Simei MRT Station for brunch with my brother-in-law, my mum and my niece and nephew. We were suppose to go to Tampinese Shopping Mall but all the parking is full.

So there we are in Hola Cafeteria. I tried the chicken rice here before two years ago, which is not too bad. There are some new stalls here that I didn't see before two years ago. Then this Chinese word "羊肉汤" caught my attention. It means mutton soup actually.

So, I ordered a bowl of SGD $5 Mixed Mutton Soup.

The soup taste a bit like bah kut teh soup from KL. The mutton is very tender. For those that like mutton will love this.

Mixed Mutton Soup (SGD $5)

A bowl of mutton soup is not enough for me. I tried googling using my mobile phone and found out that way inside the coffee shop there's an Itallian food stall called Il Piccolo Pizzeria. I went to look for it and ordered a Parma Ham Pizza (SGD $9). Where else can u find parma ham in a local coffee shop?

Parma Ham Pizza (SGD $9)

Thinly sliced parma ham laid on top of a slice of aubergine lay over a 7 inch pizza dough and baked in the oven. A very simple pizza yet quite satisfying. The only complain is that more cheese can be better and the crust can be thinner. Greedy me.

Such a pleasant surprise there to find a mutton soup stall and a pizzeria in this neighbourhood local coffee shop. Oh well, at least now I don't have to go far for Italian food from my sister's place.
