Rakuzen Kitchen, Desa Park City

Simon Says: Happy Birthday to Suet Li (Wednesday) and to Angel Yee (Thursday)

This is a very back dated post. A few months back my sister and my brother-in-law were back in KL with Ruth and Noah. They are having dinner with some of their friends in Rakuzen Kitchen, Waterfront at Desa Park City. Which is only 5 minutes drive from my place.

As now seems like a norm with any Japanese restaurant managed by Super Dining Sdn. Bhd. next to it is a Shojikiya shop.

Shojikiya

I was late because I finished work only at 8 p.m. they already almost finish their main. One of their friend ordered this...

Japanese rice wine

I was offered a glass. That's a plum inside. Added so that the wine won't taste too strong.

Wasted no time in browsing through the menu and I order a salad. Try to ahem, lose some weight which fail miserably, obviously.

The house salad dressing which is the same that you can find in Rakuzen, Pasta Zanmai and Sushi Zanmai. You can even buy it from Shojikiya.

Watashi no Sashimi no Sakusaku Sappari Salada (Sashimi Salad)

Consists of crab meat, raw salmon, raw white fish, lettuce and tomato. The salmon and the white fish are fresh but to the white fish is too fishy for my liking with a bit of skin still intact. The portion is quite big too to be eaten by myself. Overall still not a bad salad. Next time I'll order a small portion instead.

Rating: 3/5

The desserts arrived half way I was eating my salad.

Green tea and chocolate mochi ice-cream.

I always like the skin made of glutinous rice which is quite chewy and eat it with cold ice-cream. Brings back my memory when I was still in primary school where I can buy two balls of mochi ice-cream with only RM 1.

Rating: 3.5/5

Sis ordered sesame ice-cream.

Finally Krispy Kreme in Malaysia?

Nope. My sis used to work in Krispy Kreme in UK, this is her lanyard that she now use to carry her apartment's tag in Singapore.

After the dinner, the bill was taken care by Jess, my sis' bff. We then walk around to explore the shops in Waterfront.

Jess, walking with Ruth. She's also Ruth's godmother.

Ruth riding on a toy horse in a shop selling baby apparels.

We then went to Coffee Bean to have coffee. The tab is on me of course.

Ruth running around in coffee bean like it's her playground.

Peek-a-boo

Not to be left out is Noah, my nephew.

DUDESWEET KL w KL: Featuring Salah Wrong

Simon Says: Happy Birthday to Nick, Kenny and Suanie. Wish you three all the best.

Last week I was reading KinkyBlueFairy and found out about a party that will be on the next day on Wednesday night in Cloth & Clef. Good. Since I don't have anything to do might as well go and gate crash the party lol. The party is named DUDESWEET KL w KL: Featuring Salah Wrong. Who's Salah Wrong?

Arrived there on the dot and found Biresh and Joyce having beer with some friends.

Biresh, Camelia, ? and Ashley.

Interesting menu design.

Cloth & Clef also sell some interesting art.

Someone brought a camera pack of Mild Seven from USA.

While waiting for the party to start, I did a bit of camwhoring.

Camelia and Ashley

Yes. Here's Salah Wrong which is Salah Chan and Joyce Wrong lol. If you read Joyce's blog you'll know that Joyce refer to Sarah Chan as SarChan.

Biresh and I doing the Colgate commercial.

Nur came out of no where to scare Camelia.

Joyce look so cute with the headphone on.

Another purpose of the party is to celebrate Kevin's birthday.

Kevin cutting his birthday cake.

2nd time I see her but still don't know her name, 1st time I saw her here.

In the party I saw a lot of different fashion that you don't normally see on the street.

We have the Drag Queens.

Sailor?

I just like this pic that I took of the stairs.

The gorgeous from afar is actually Cynthia. Didn't recognize her at first because she look so different last I met her at Wild Live.

Nice to have beers and dance to some nice and happy music pick by Salah Wrong. I partied till about 2.30 a.m. then only I make my way home. Cloth & Clef is a nice cozy place to hangout in 30, Jalan Changkat Bukit Bintang. Thank you VICE MODERN DISCO : V.M.D for this party.

Spread it out.

Classified Ads As Easy as Mudah

Ever trying to sell something on the Classified Ads on a newspaper? You will have to pay maybe about RM 50 to RM 70 for very small square column of the something that you want to sell and beg readers to notice your ads. That's the fee for maybe 2 to 3 days?

Now that I found out about an online mudah.com.my, posting up free classified ads is now as easy as mudah lol. Best of all it's free of charge. You can post a classified ads if you want to sell something, like your old Nokia handphones or even your playstation or playstation 2 that you haven't touch in ages because you've bought a new playstation 3. You can also post ads for jobs or job vacancy, for parents might be looking for tuition teacher or even company that wants to hire a clerk.

To post an ads is really easy. Just fill in the form like the one shown below:

One can post it as a private or company. As for me, of course I'll choose to post as private. Currently I can't think of anything to that I wanted to sell. I don't have money to buy a new car so I won't be selling my current one. I don't own any property so will not be selling or renting any. Real estate agent will surely like mudah.com.my to post their ads to sell or rent out properties they deal with.

Browsing through the Wanted list, I can see people are posting ads looking for exhaust pipe, a room to rent, hiring Senior IT Trainer, and etc. So the list is endless on what you're looking for. I wonder can I post up an ad like this "Single handsome male looking for pretty female aged between 18 to 25 as girl friend" Nah, I'm not that desperate yet.

Then in the For sale list one can see like book keeping services for sale, Mont Blanc perfume, and even a Porsche Cayenne. Browsing through, I find that second hand car is one of the most popular ads posting. More people selling their cars and take the public transport because of the fuel hike? I even found someone selling Chihuahua here, so if you want to look for a pet dog, this might be a good place to start to look for a pet bargain. Surely the pets for sale here is cheaper from the pet shop.

Another good thing about mudah.com.my is that you can search the ads and filter it out not only by categories and location but also price range and for property the number of bedrooms and the size of the property. This is good for someone looking for a room to rent for those that came to Klang Valley to work and need a place to stay or for someone to purchase a property.

Ah, now I can post ads to sell my American comics like my Wolverine #50 special die-cut edition or The Amazing Spider-man #400 with special White cover in Mudah. Hope that the comics are now worth something after keeping them for more than 15 years. Any buyer out there?
