Don't get me wrong, I'm not allergic to polyester in fact I'm quite comfortable wearing T-shirt made from polyester material. Comfortable just as long as I'm not sitting in a wrong full of PCs. When I'm working, I have to sit in a room with at least 50 PCs running 24/7. Just one hour sitting in the room wearing my HP or Nikon T-shirt, I will feel very uneasy. This uneasiness can't be explained, it's just that like you just have to get out from the room.
At first, I still am not sure what is wrong with me. Then one day I went to the toilet to do my business, and I accidentally touch my HP T-shirt with the steel pipe. It created some static sound. Sound that you hear when you touch a metal and suddenly you felt an electric shock, it won't kill of course. Lucky is that I didn't get shock but just felt a lot of static around the T-shirt.
I took off my T-shirt and place it close to the steel hose and guess what? More static sound, I can even hear static sound when I took off my T-shirt. I move the T-shirt around the steel hose until I don't hear any more static sound. I put on the T-shirt back on and I don't feel the uneasiness already, I even felt lighter.
After this experience in the toilet, every 2-3 hours I'll go to the toilet, take off my T-shirt and 'de-staticise' it. Nowadays, if there's a choice I will not wear T-shirt made of polyester to work. Cotton don't have this kind of problem. I read that some where that too much static in the body is not good for health and wearing polyester 'trapped' the static. Oh my god, does this mean that my T-shirt is killing me softly slowly?
P.S. I'm not sure whether it will be safe to use the petrol pump when wearing clothes filled with static. Scary.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH really one ah polyester shirts eat up all the static? I have been shocking myself on the office chair every day T_T
